Harbor View Association provides an idyllic setting for its residents in all seasons of the year.

Tucked back off of Ferry Road in North Haven, NY, HVA encompasses a portion of Fresh Pond Road, Forest Road, Goodwood Road and Oak Lane that creates a quiet area with no through traffic. It is about one and a half miles to the shops and restaurants of Sag Harbor and about two miles to Long Beach on Noyack Bay. North Haven is a part of the Town of Southampton and our school district is Sag Harbor. Members of HVA may use our beach area with access along a right of way via vehicle or on foot.

about Harbor View Associaton

The map delineating the Harbor View subdivision was filed in the Suffolk County Clerk’s Office in 1938. Since that time, the residents of Harbor View have worked cooperatively to preserve and enhance the quality of life in this idyllic community located on the east side of the peninsula of North Haven, which offers expansive water views of Sag Harbor Bay and Fresh Pond, and is surrounded by protected woods and wetlands.

In 1983, Harbor View Association of North Haven, N.Y. (“HVA”) was formally incorporated to serve as the homeowners’ association for the subdivision with the stated purpose of providing for the financing and care of the community’s roads, common areas and beach access, implementing rules with respect to their use and providing for the general welfare of the community and its residents.

Since that time, HVA has operated continuously to fulfill its mission, acting through a volunteer board with slate of elected directors and officers. Annual dues and, as needed, special assessments are paid by the homeowners within the community to support HVA’s activities.

There are a total of 41 separately identified lots (as per the Suffolk County Tax map) within the subdivision. The most recent update of HVA By-Laws was done in 2021.
